A major mainstream news outlet just reported that the Eastern European country of Poland is blaming Russia for fires that Poland experienced in the hot month of May 2024, apparently claiming that Russia is starting fires as part of its hybrid war initiative because it fears NATO and thinks it will not win otherwise.
Other rumours flying around on the internet and omitted by mainstream media (obviously) are that:
1/ Polish secret service started these fires (and blame Russia) in order to increase public anger to gain acceptance for sending its troops to Ukraine
2/ The fires were started to exmit shop owners so that new construction projects can take place on this lucrative plot of land
3/ the fires were started by Ukraine mafia which is expanding its activities in Poland so that they can setup their operations there which are based on cash transactions (most of the retailers in the burnt down center were cash based).
